Manage operational supplier quality, including validating the supplier's quality systems and processes.

Drives approval process for supplier parts, materials, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.

Leads in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services. And be capable of efficiently handling and responding to customer feedback or complaints.

This role will work closely with the product development teams and suppliers to ensure we meet or exceed industry quality standards; address issues of supplier non-conformance and conduct supplier audits. Accomplishments, and experience with Manufacturing Quality Assurance in stamping, Machining, Fabrication, Progressive Die and Sheet Metal Industries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of the product development process and the role of quality and supply chain in new product launches as well as ongoing production.
• Knowledge in quality management, analysis/ improving tools
• Team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources; experience working with others on a global basis is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills - communicate in a clear and succinct manner; effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
• Mindset to innovate, take ownership, drive improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills-Chinese and English

Responsibilities:

• Lead/support the team for problems solving.
• Closely cooperate with project teams for ontime delivery with good quality.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction through product quality assurance.
• Analyze customer specifications, communicate with customers to have mutual agreement for quality standard.
• Responsible for the product/process validation both in project and SOP phase.
• Responsible for control plan establishment & maintenance with supplier (prototype, safe launch, production)
• Prepare Customer Initial Samples and PPAP files, responsible for internal validation and customer approvals.
• Respond to Customer Quality issues during project phase (0km/warranty)
• Recognize common issues/problems in product development and set up systematic process to improve
• Understand the pain points/requests from manufacturing sites and work together with cross function team for better solutions.
