Test Engineer Intern

Job Summary
As a Test Engineer Intern at Jabil, Inc., you will play a supporting role in the development and execution of test plans for cutting-edge electronic products. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to the quality and reliability of our diverse product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the development, documentation, and execution of test procedures for new and existing products.
* Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and debugging test equipment and product failures.
* Collect, analyze, and report test data, identifying trends and potential issues.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of test fixtures and automation solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
* Learn and apply industry best practices for testing and quality control.
* Maintain accurate records of test results and equipment calibration.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronic components.
* Familiarity with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

* Work location based in P1 Bayan Lepas Penang.
