How will you make an impact?-

Jabil is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Enterprise and Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems of server solutions for our customers.   You will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end definition, development and POC validation of server and rack level solutions spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions.  You will also be responsible for interfacing with customers, sales, marketing, CTO, and product engineering teams to ensure your deliverables meet the creative solutioning and optimal performance expected of our customers.

What will you do? -  

  • Lead execution of fast-paced engineering projects, owning delivery from concept through production

  • Act as a key technical advisor to customers and sales, driving server and rack solution adoption focused on performance and scalability

  • Support pre-sales engagement, develop customer relationships, and translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Perform system-level validation, debugging, and customer sample development to enable successful deployments

  • Manage customer escalations end-to-end, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and coordination with suppliers

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across sales, architecture, business units, and engineering to meet account objectives

  • Deliver technical presentations, training, and ongoing customer engagement, including regular meetings and onsite support

  • Own end-to-end solution delivery (CRD), from design through mass production readiness

  • Make critical decisions impacting product quality, features, and customer experience

  • Maintain lifecycle ownership, including firmware/BIOS/BMC tracking, maintenance releases, and technology transitions

  • Promote continuous innovation by evaluating new technologies and improving development processes

  • Support global engagement with up to 20% travel

How will you get here? - 

Education: 

  • BSEE, BSCS or equivalent is required

Experience:   

  • 8+ years of related engineering experience is required

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role is a must

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to work within a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • Expertise with the architecture, design and configuration and deployment of server, storage and networking systems

  • Strong technical skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions

  • Working knowledge of server products including embedded remote management standards, interfaces and applications

  • Expertise into all aspects of server and storage system performance, including raw, synthetic and application proxy workloads, performance analysis, debug and optimization from the device to the application level

  • Facilitation of test results databases and visualization technologies to enable rapid decision making and conclusions

  • Expertise with Linux operating systems, related applications and script development

  • Ability to travel both domestic and International up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Master's Degree or equivalent is a plus

  • Manufacturing, Factory and Assembly experience is a plus

  • Experience working in multi-site and multi-cultural environments is preferred
