Job Profile Title: Senior Program Manager (Cloud Platform Development)

How will you make an impact?

Jabil is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead cross-functional design and delivery of server, storage, and networking hardware solutions in a joint development model with key customers.

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for running large complex programs, including contingency planning and issue resolution. This role ensures that all programs and projects follow standard procedures and governance used in the management and deployment of programs.

The Senior Program Manager contributes to and demonstrates a solid understanding of program vision and roadmap, while maintaining awareness of cross-product/program synergies and actively communicating opportunities to simplify or better alignment of work across teams.

What will you do?

• Oversee the direction of large complex programs, ensuring alignment with world-wide cross-functional delivery teams

• Manage global communications regarding release plans and deliveries, ensuring regular, active communication with customers, key stakeholders, and executives

• Recognize Key Success Indicators and manage work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints

• Identify program impediments and guide proper escalation as needed, planning and scheduling programs to deliver key milestones and manage interdependencies

• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by anticipating, meeting, and exceeding expectations, and prioritizing customer issues

• Collaborate with Business Unit leaders to develop project and program resourcing strategies, ensuring optimal support for projects and daily operations

• Review and monitor project health with functional leaders, establishing and implementing metrics to measure project performance

• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management

• Ensure compliance with company security policy procedures and maintain the quality of milestones and deliverables within program requirements.

How will you get here?-

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree is required (Engineering/Technical preferred)

Experience:

• 12+ years’ experience in enterprise hardware design and electronics manufacturing is required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• Experience in managing Hardware design and manufacturing programs

• Demonstrate team leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, confidence and strong executive presence, and influencing skills

• Prior experience driving collaboration with customers on hardware design projects

• Strong operational and financial knowledge

• Experience working in multi-site and multi-cultural environments

• A combination of education, training and experience will be considered

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP is a plus

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technology field is preferred

• 12- 15 Yrs. experience is preferred
