How will you make animpact?-

Jabil is seeking a Systems Engineer who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Enterprise and Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems of server solutions for our customers.   You willbe responsible forcontributing to the end-to-end definition,developmentand customer sample validation of server and rack level solutions spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions.  You will alsobe responsible forinterfacingwith customers, sales, marketing, CTO, and product engineering teams to ensure your deliverables meet the creative solutioning andoptimalperformance expected of our customers.

What will you do? -  

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to lead systems engineering/management, guiding customer solutions focusing on application, storage, and networking performance.

• Perform system assembly, system-level validation, anddebug ofserver platforms to support customer samples and solution validation.

• Own end-to-end customer escalation management, includingissuetriage, root cause analysis, supplier coordination, and critical bug resolution.

• Lead maintenance release activities, including technology transitions, supply continuity, and implementation of approved design updates.

• Engage directly with customers and partners to understand business needs and demonstrate Jabil’s solution capabilities.

• Drive pre-sales technical activities toidentifyand enablenew designopportunities in collaboration with sales teams.

• Develop andmaintainstrong technical relationships with key customer accounts and support account growthobjectives.

• Ensuretimelyand successful delivery of development efforts for both new andsustainingproducts.

• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, partnering closely with sales, architecture, and business unit teams.

• Deliver technical presentations, training, and updates to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Design and develop customer sample systems and define activitiesrequiredto transition solutions to mass production.

• Provide onsite and ongoing customer support, including issue resolution and technical guidance.

• Manage and track firmware, BIOS, and BMC updates throughout the product lifecycle.

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation and improve solution effectiveness.

• Support global customer engagement, including up to 10%domesticand international travel.

How will you get here? –

Education: 

• BSEE, BSCS or equivalent isrequired

Experience:   

• 5+ years of related engineering experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working in multi-site and multi-cultural environments

• Proven ability to work within a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

• Exposure toarchitecture, design and configuration and deployment of server,storageand networking systems

• Working knowledge of server products including embedded remote management standards,interfacesand applications

• Expertise intoall aspects of server and storage system performance, includingraw,synthetic and application proxy workloads, performance analysis,debugand optimization from the device to the application level

• Facilitation of testresultsdatabases and visualization technologies to enable rapid decision making and conclusions

• Expertisewith Linux operating systems, relatedapplicationsand script development

• Ability to travel up to 10% both domestic and international

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Manufacturing, Factory and Assembly experience is a plus

• Experience working in multi-site and multi-cultural environments is preferred
