Job Summary: The Electrical Assembler II is responsible for assembling, wiring, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems used in large-scale cooling solutions for data center applications. Working with minimal supervision, this role interprets electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and engineering documentation to perform complex electrical assemblies and system integrations. The Electrical Assembler supports product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and customer requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: • Assemble, wire, route, terminate, and integrate complex electrical and electromechanical assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and work instructions. • Install and connect control panels, sensors, switches, motors, relays, terminal blocks, power distribution components, and other electrical devices. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), engineering prints, and assembly documentation to independently complete assigned work. • Perform wire routing, termination, crimping, labeling, and cable management in accordance with workmanship and quality standards. • Conduct electrical continuity checks, functional testing, and verification activities to ensure assemblies meet engineering and quality requirements. • Troubleshoot electrical assembly issues, identify root causes, and perform rework or corrective actions as needed. • Verify proper component installation, wiring configurations, torque requirements, and assembly accuracy. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, meters, barcode scanners, and testing equipment safely and effectively. • Maintain accurate production, testing, quality, and material traceability documentation. • Identify and communicate material, tooling, process, or quality concerns to appropriate personnel. • Assist in supporting and training less experienced assemblers on assembly techniques, wiring standards, and workmanship requirements. • Support prototype, pilot, and new product introduction (NPI) builds as required. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, productivity, and workmanship. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards. • Adhere to all company safety, quality, environmental, and security policies and procedures. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: • Minimum two (2) years of experience in electrical assembly, industrial electrical work, HVAC controls, control panel wiring, electrical installation, electromechanical assembly, or related electrical trades required. • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and engineering documentation required. • Working knowledge of electrical components including relays, contactors, switches, sensors, motors, circuit protection devices, and control panels. • Experience performing wire routing, cable management, crimping, termination, and electrical integration activities required. • Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, continuity testers, and related diagnostic tools preferred. • Ability to troubleshoot wiring issues, electrical connections, and assembly-related defects with minimal supervision. • Basic computer skills and ability to work within manufacturing systems and software. • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail and quality. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for up to 10–12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation; mechanical lifting devices and team lifts may be utilized as needed.
