Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through the accurate receipt, storage, movement, replenishment, and transaction of materials throughout the facility. This role ensures production lines are supplied with the right materials at the right time while maintaining inventory accuracy and adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. The Material Handler will utilize ERP systems, RF scanning devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to support warehouse and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: • Own all material movement to stock including dock to stock, material requisition order (MRO), printed circuit boards (PCB), floor returns, and system transactions done by scanner or computer. • Issue all material from stock including transfers, kits, manual pulls, highly marketable parts (HMP) and system transactions done by scanner or computer. • Ensure accuracy by performing all transactions correctly and verifying whenever necessary. • Cycle count whenever necessary. • Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized. • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. • Receive, store, stage, and distribute materials to production areas in accordance with production schedules. • Perform material transactions in ERP systems to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability. • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management tools to complete inventory movements, receipts, issues, and cycle count activities. • Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved material handling equipment. • Support line-side replenishment activities to ensure continuous production operations. • Verify material accuracy, quantities, and part numbers prior to issuing components to production. • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, stock location maintenance, and inventory discrepancy investigations. • Load, unload, and move materials, components, and finished goods safely and efficiently throughout the facility. • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation in accordance with company procedures. • Follow FIFO practices and inventory control processes. • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and production support environment. • Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures when handling materials and operating powered industrial vehicles. Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling operations preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience utilizing ERP systems required; SAP experience strongly preferred. • Experience using RF scanners/RF guns for inventory transactions and material tracking preferred. • Forklift and pallet jack experience required; certification or ability to obtain certification preferred. • Experience supporting manufacturing production environments preferred. • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate inventory management and manufacturing systems. • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. • Strong inventory accuracy and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
