Job Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, timely material flow, and proper transaction processing within inventory management systems. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk utilizes ERP systems, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently support warehouse and production operations. Duties and Responsibilities: • Receive, inspect, unload, and verify incoming materials, components, and shipments for accuracy and completeness. • Process incoming and outgoing inventory transactions using ERP systems and RF scanning equipment. • Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, and material requisitions to determine inventory and distribution requirements. • Pick, stage, package, and prepare materials and products for shipment according to production schedules and customer requirements. • Move materials between receiving, warehouse, stockroom, and production areas while maintaining full inventory traceability. • Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations using established inventory control processes and storage standards. • Verify part numbers, quantities, lot information, and documentation before issuing or shipping materials. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved material handling equipment safely and effectively. • Perform inventory transactions, transfers, and material movements within the ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy. • Support cycle counts, inventory audits, stock location maintenance, and inventory discrepancy investigations. • Label, identify, and organize materials, components, and finished goods in accordance with company standards. • Load and unload trucks and assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed. • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices and established warehouse procedures. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards. • Adhere to all safety, quality, environmental, and security policies and procedures. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum one (1) year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, operations required or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience working within ERP systems required; SAP experience preferred. • Experience using RF scanners (RF guns) for inventory management, receiving, shipping, and material transactions preferred. • Forklift and pallet jack experience required; certification or ability to obtain certification preferred. • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate inventory management and warehouse software systems. • Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy and material traceability. • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for up to 10-12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation; mechanical lifting devices and team lifts may be utilized as needed.
