How Will You Make An Impact?
The High-Volume Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting for direct labor and production positions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates while partnering closely with the onsite HR team and hiring managers. The recruiter will also lead strategic sourcing initiatives, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. There is potential for this position to provide support for direct labor hiring across additional regional locations. 

Location:

Initially, this role will be based on-site at our Memphis, TN facility to support Memphis hiring needs, as well as supporting hiring for a brand-new facility in Byhalia, MS that will be up and running approx. later this year. Expectation will be to float between both of these sites eventually. Additionally, support may be needed for other projects amongst the region with the primary focus still being on Memphis & Byhalia.


What Will You Do?

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for direct labor and production roles.

  • Conversion of Temporary Employees: Manage the process of converting eligible temporary employees to direct hires.

  • Candidate Engagement: Conduct initial phone interviews, prepare candidates for interviews, and guide them through the hiring process.

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Job Posting & Tracking: Create job postings, maintain applicant tracking systems, and manage candidate pipelines.

  • Onboarding: Support onboarding activities in alignment with company standards.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal hiring policies.

  • Community Recruitment: Act as a subject matter expert for local recruitment events and community outreach.

  • Market Intelligence: Research labor market trends and develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

  • Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with HR teams, hiring managers, and business leaders.


How Will You Get Here?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience with at least 3+ of those years being involved with high-volume/direct labor recruiting in a manufacturing environment.

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities:

  • Strong sourcing expertise, including passive candidate recruitment.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and online recruiting tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans.

  • Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and community engagement.

  • Highly networked and knowledgeable of leading search practices.

  • Consultative approach with a sense of urgency and customer service mindset.

  • Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
