ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be working in a dynamic and challenging role, with a focus on the efficiency and timely purchasing of packaging, components, with agreed deadlines.
• You will support the NPI RFQ process on procurement of value for money components, and identify new supply chain sources in order to maintain competitive supply sources-with a focus on reduction of cost where possible.
• You will raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders on suppliers-and expedite orders with suppliers to ensure on time deliveries.
• You will monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier schedules-in line with MRP and manufacturing requirements.
• You will assist in developing systems within the supply chain department, liaising with suppliers and internal department/project managers.
• You will develop and maintain current ISO standards, with consistent consideration for policies and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Degree qualified with specific or additional qualification in SCM.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
• Certification by related professional organization such as APICS or CPIM.
• Equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
