How Will You Make An Impact?

The Human Resources Generalist Isupportsthe day-to-day administration of human resources programs and processes while serving as a resource to employees and supervisors. Under the guidance of HR leadership and senior HR team members, this positionassistswith employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HR reporting, employee engagement initiatives, and policy administration. The HRGIis responsible forensuringaccurateHR transactions,maintainingemployee records, supporting compliance efforts, and delivering excellent customer service to employees across the organization. This role serves as a developmental HR position designed to build broad HR knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Location:

This role will be based on-site at our Salt Lake City, UT (Grantsville) manufacturing facility.

Shift:

This role will support 3rd and 1st shifts, so the ideal working hours will be 5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday approx. (with flexibility needed as well).

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employeesregardingHR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Assistmanagers and employees with routine employee relations matters and escalate complex issues asappropriate.

  • Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and site communications.

  • Assistwith investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and employee concerns under the direction of HR leadership.

  • Maintain employee personnel records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruiting activities for hourly and entry-level positions.

  • Review applications, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers throughout the selection process.

  • Conduct candidate screenings andassistwith new hireselection.

  • Process new hire documentation andfacilitateonboarding activities.

  • Conduct new hire orientation and support employee integration into the organization.

  • Assistwith internal transfers, promotions, and employment status changes.

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Assistemployees with benefits-related questions and direct them toappropriate resources.

  • Support annual open enrollment activities and benefits communications.

  • Process benefits enrollment transactions andmaintainrecords.

  • Assistwith leave administration, accommodation requests, and related documentation.

    HR Operations & Compliance

    • Maintainaccurateemployee records within HRIS and personnel files.

    • Generate and distribute standard HR reports and workforce metrics.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.

    • Support audits, compliance reviews, and record retention requirements.

    • Assistwith policy rollouts, employee communications, and HR process improvements.

    Compensation & HR Programs

    • Support compensation administration activities, including job changes and wage adjustments.

    • Assistwith job description maintenance and position documentation.

    • Participate in employee surveys, engagement initiatives, training programs, and other HR projects.

    • Support implementation of HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

    General Responsibilities

    • Adhere to all safety and health regulations associated with the position.

    • Comply withall company security and confidentiality requirements.

    • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    How Will You Get Here?

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

    • Professional Human Resources certification (PHR) or progress toward HR certification.

    Experience:

    • At least 1+ years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Administrative, or related professional experience (Human Resources internship or prior HR experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or industrial environment preferred).

    • Experience supporting hourly workforce populations preferred.

    • Experience using HRIS systems ordemonstratedability to learn HR technology platforms preferred.

    • Experience generating HR metrics, reports, and workforce analytics preferred.

    • Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.

    • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    • Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

    • Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, orbenefitsadministration.

    • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO requirements.

    • Demonstrated customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities.
