We are looking for a new team member in the role as

Sr. Master Data Supervisor

Location:  Hägendorf (CH) oder Tuttlingen (DE)

Type of Contract: permanent employment

Startdate: in alignment with the candidate’s availabilities

Travels: 1x to one of the other sites

This role leads and develops a team responsible for master data management, and NC/CAPA/OBS, ensuring reliable service for operations and strong performance across quality, costs and EHS. It partners with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify and mitigate data and process risks, supports day‑to‑day operations, and drives continuous improvement through structured problem‑solving and value stream input. The role emphasizes people leadership through clear accountability, performance management, and coaching. It also supports plant and engineering strategic initiatives, interfaces with operations to align priorities, ensures timely closure of quality actions, and provides regular performance and financial updates to management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for leading a team of experts in Master data, conformance resolution as NC/CAPA/audit observations, providing engineering support to the workcell and contributing towards key business drivers such as Reliable Supply, Quality, Cost and EHS.
  • Work with employees responsible for master data management across multiple areas: operations, finance, planning, quality, etc. Identify issues and risks; define resolutions and mitigations.
  • Talent development of team members through coaching and training
  • Provision of clearly defined responsibilities and objectives to team members
  • Definition and execution of skills matrix, individual performance improvement and development plans for team members in-line with the Plant strategic imperatives and objectives
  • Provision of effective performance reviews in a timely manner, identification of training needs of staff and opportunities for development to maximize their potential
  • Engineering teams help the site operation hit its performance targets by improving and supporting the end‑to‑end processes that create customer value
  • Providing process input into the value stream mapping process which is used to develop the business plan for the value stream
  • Supporting day-to-day operations
  • Providing support to the team in Root Cause Analysis of supply and quality issues as they arise through tools such as A3, 8D and Six Sigma
  • Ensuring timely closure of quality actions such as Training, Audit Actions, NCR’s, CAPA’s and Observations across the team
  • Work with EU Master Data Manager to develop and implement strategic engineering Goals & Objectives.
  • Support the implementation of all engineering and plant strategic initiatives
  • Determines work priorities with respect to production schedules and interfaces with department and line supervisors.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering / Science discipline, with 5+ years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training preferably in data management and deviations
  • Experience in a regulated industry
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma / proven experience is a plus
  • Business fluent in German
