Job Summary
Under broad supervision, provides centralized human resource services spanning payroll, benefits and other transactions. Ensures efficiency of service center operations, technology and transaction processes. Establishes standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs. Coordinates services with the human resource information systems, human resource program managers and technology specialists.
Education & Experience
Typically requires of 2 -5 years of experience in the current field of work.
Typically College or university degree required
Responsibilities
Maintain HRIS databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, compensation details, and benefits enrollment.
Provide support for payroll processing activities and ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Manage benefits administration tasks such as enrolling employees in benefit plans, processing changes to benefits coverage, and responding to employee inquiries about benefits options.
Analyze HR data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function and across the organization.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, performance evaluations, and other HR-related documentation, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Collaborate with other HR team members, departments, and external vendors to deliver HR services effectively and efficiently, and communicate updates or changes in HR policies and procedures to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within HR shared services, and contribute to the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Skills / Ability Generic (High Level)
Understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including recruitment, benefits administration, payroll, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to effectively address employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, managers, and external vendors, conveying information clearly and effectively. Strong attention to detail when managing employee data, processing paperwork, and ensuring accuracy in HR-related documentation and transactions. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee information and HR-related matters. Ability to interpret HR data, analyze trends, and generate insights to support decision-making, identify opportunities for process improvements, and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives
