Job Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for new and existing products, considering functional, performance, and environmental requirements.
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using various programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) and test automation tools.
* Perform in-depth analysis of test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions.
* Evaluate and select appropriate test equipment and instrumentation, and oversee their procurement, calibration, and maintenance.
* Lead the development and improvement of test processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Mentor junior test engineers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
* Generate detailed test reports, including data analysis, failure trends, and recommendations for product improvement.
* Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on testability, manufacturability, and potential failure modes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new test methodologies to continuously improve testing capabilities.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Experience in test engineering, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a similar high-tech industry.
* Proven experience in developing and implementing automated test solutions.
* Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, C#, LabVIEW).
* Strong understanding of electronic circuit design, digital and analog electronics, and embedded systems.
* Experience with various test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
* Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for testing and quality assurance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical and detail-oriented approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
* Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques is a plus.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles is an advantage.
