Job Summary

The Quality Jr. Engineer will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring product quality and process compliance within Jabil India Manufacturing. This role involves assisting with quality control activities, data analysis, and documentation to uphold high manufacturing standards.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the inspection of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures and documentation.
* Collect and analyze quality data, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
* Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
* Assist in conducting internal audits and supporting external audits to ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO).
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related problems.
* Maintain accurate and organized quality records, reports, and documentation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
* Learn and apply various quality tools and methodologies as directed by senior engineers.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
* 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment, internships or academic projects in quality are a plus.
* Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
* Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
