How will you make an impact?

• The Test Engineer at Jabil Inc. is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test solutions for electronic products, ensuring product quality and performance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

What will you do?  

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various electronic products and components.

• Develop and implement automated test systems and fixtures to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.

• Perform functional, performance, stress, and regression testing on hardware and software systems.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work collaboratively with design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.

• Document test procedures, test reports, and defect tracking.

• Participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and manufacturability.

• Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance product quality and reduce test time.

• Provide technical support and training to production test operators.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality procedures.

• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, digital and analog systems, and manufacturing test methodologies.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

Experience:  

• 2+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics.

• Hands-on L10, L11, and L12 test expertise, strong Linux programming skills, and solid knowledge of GPU/CPU systems, understanding of cloud platforms, and leading a team of engineers, driving high-quality testing and technical excellence in a manufacturing test performance floor.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, LabVIEW, or equivalent for test automation.

• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

• Experience with boundary scan, in-circuit test (ICT), or functional test (FCT) is a plus.
