Position Summary

The Catheter Process Engineering Intern will be responsible for assisting on the developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes for complex medical catheters.

Intern Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of catheters (e.g., balloon, guide, diagnostic, or therapeutic catheters)
• Support prototype fabrication (cutting, bonding, extrusion prep, assembly)
• Help conduct bench testing (tensile, torque, burst pressure, flow, kink resistance, trackability)
• Collect, analyze, and document test data and results

Qualifications

• Currently a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• GPA: 3.0+
• Must be available to work full-time, on-site at the corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida from May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026.
• CAD Knowledge
• Data analysis and technical writing skills
