The Senior Financial Analyst supports St. Petersburg, FL manufacturing site and serves as a key business partner to site leadership. This role delivers in‑depth financial analysis, cost insight, and operational performance reporting to drive better decision‑making. Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, PPV analysis, cost analysis, SOX compliance, and routine financial health reviews. This position also contributes to the enhancement and maintenance of Jabil’s financial systems and tools, ensuring accuracy, strong internal controls, and alignment with corporate standards. The analyst interacts routinely with cross‑functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Corporate Finance, to improve transparency, support strategic initiatives, and enhance overall operating results.

Location

This role will be based on-site at our Bryan Dairy Manufacturing Facility in St. Petersburg, FL. There is flexibility to be hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote), depending on business needs.

What Will You Do?

  • Prepare, analyze, and present complex financial reports, both recurring and ad hoc, for senior and executive leadership.

  • Conduct detailed cost analysis, including PPV (Purchase Price Variance), labor, overhead, and manufacturing cost reviews.

  • Perform weekly KPI/indicator reviews and provide insights on site performance trends.

  • Lead Actual vs. Forecast variance analyses and communicate root causes and action plans.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles, including site‑level revenue, margin, and cost projections.

  • Support annual budgeting for two St. Petersburg sites, incorporating operational inputs and financial modeling.

Operational Support & Controls

  • Maintain SOX compliance across financial processes and ensure controls are documented, tested, and adhered to.

  • Partner with site operational teams (Ops, Engineering, Supply Chain) to understand cost drivers, productivity, and efficiency opportunities.

  • Support site finance in understanding inventory, scrap, productivity, and material variance performance.

Systems, Tools & Process Improvement

  • Review, analyze, and prioritize enhancements or changes to financial reporting systems and toolsets.

  • Develop specifications and implement improvements to strengthen data accuracy, reporting speed, and user experience.

  • Train and support plant personnel on financial system usage, reporting tools, and compliance requirements.

  • Manage and evaluate user requests for system modifications, ensuring alignment with business needs and financial controls.

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and decision-support capabilities.

General Responsibilities

  • Execute time‑sensitive analyses with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

What are the Education & Experience Requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

  • 3–5+ years of progressive financial analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance experience.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or operations‑focused environment strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems; experience with data visualization tools a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
