Job Summary**

The Indirect Buyer is responsible for procuring goods and services not directly incorporated into Jabil's products, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery for various internal departments.

Job Responsibilities**

* Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for indirect materials and services, including but not limited to MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), capital equipment, facilities services, IT hardware/software, and professional services.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes and cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Manage purchase orders from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through negotiation, process optimization, and alternative sourcing strategies.
* Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
* Maintain accurate purchasing records and generate reports as required.
* Collaborate with global procurement teams to leverage economies of scale and best practices.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
* Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
* Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
