Job Summary**
The Sr. Compensation Analyst (Power BI development) will be a key contributor to Compensation GPO (GPO), responsible for developing and maintaining robust compensation data analytics and reporting solutions primarily using Power BI. This role will ensure the accurate and effective analysis of compensation programs, supporting strategic decision-making and GPO objectives.
Job Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to visualize and analyze compensation data for the GPO.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, WD Team and GPO leadership to understand compensation reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
* Extract, transform, and load (ETL) compensation data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Perform in-depth compensation analysis, including market pricing, pay equity, incentive plan effectiveness, and budgeting, identifying trends and recommending solutions.
* Develop and implement compensation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal guidelines.
* Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, bonus payouts, and long-term incentive administration.
* Conduct ad-hoc compensation analyses and prepare presentations for management.
* Train and support end-users on Power BI compensation dashboards and reports.
* Stay current with best practices in compensation analytics and Power BI development.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in analytics, with a strong focus on data and reporting.
* Proven expertise in Power BI development, including DAX, M-query, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
* Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and market data.
* Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ) is highly desirable.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to communicate complex compensation concepts and data insights effectively to diverse audiences.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
