The Trade Support Senior Analyst support U.S. Import Operation Activities. This individual must be familiar with general international logistics processes and import / customs trade compliance requirements. The perspective candidate for this role must know how to read and understand shipping documents, calculate duties, be able to solve complex import related issues, and keep up with regulatory changes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with site operations, business units, and other functional areas to address and ensure all import activities are effectively processed.
·    Ensure all inbound shipments are in compliance with all applicable import rules and regulations.
·    Proactively identify areas of compliance risk.
·    Maintain general record keeping requirements in compliance with Jabil corporate and applicable Customs import regulations.
·    Conduct daily review and reconciliation process to ensure accuracy of all entries with Customs.
·    Manage exclusion filing, protests, and post entry corrections.
·    Maintain metrics on import and compliance related statistics.
·    Audit import activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

·    Knowledge of international logistics process.

·    Knowledge of trade compliance / import regulations.

·    Knowledge and ability to calculate duties.

·    Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
·    Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
·    Solid communication skills in English.
·    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
·    Ability to write and follow complex correspondence.
·    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex instructions.
·    Ability to deal with non-standardized situations.
·    Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
