Job Summary

• Supports deployment, integration, optimization, and sustainment of automated manufacturing systems
• Hands-on role working with production equipment and manufacturing processes
• Focus on: New Product Introduction (NPI) & New Automation Asset Introduction
• Works with operations, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and suppliers
• Not a design role—focused on execution, support, and improvement

Responsibilities

• Automation Deployment & Support
  • Implement automation systems for assembly, test, and vision inspection
• New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Support manufacturability and process readiness
  • Integrate new products into automation systems
  • Assist with validation and production readiness
  • Work with cross-functional teams
• New Automation Asset Introduction
  • Support installation and integration
  • Participate in FAT/SAT
  • Assist with startup, ramp, and handoff
• Production Support & Troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and robotics and motion systems
  • Restore production quickly and improve uptime
• Continuous Improvement
  • Improve OEE, Downtime, Scrap, and Cycle time
  • Support root cause analysis, PFMEA, DOE
• Collaboration
  • Work with: Manufacturing, IE, Maintenance, Operations, Quality
  • Coordinate with suppliers and integrators
• Documentation & Training
  • Create work instructions and troubleshooting guides
  • Train operators and technicians

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related
• P01 Level: 0–2 years (internships, projects)
• P02 Level: 2–5 years (manufacturing/automation support)

Technical Knowledge

• Automation systems, assembly/test equipment, mechatronics
• PLCs, robotics, sensors, motors
• Vision systems (AOI / AVI basics)
• Material handling interfaces (AMR/AGV awareness)
• Lean manufacturing preferred

Additional Expectations

• Follow regional/global automation standards
• Support NPI, new asset introduction, and continuous improvement
• Work in a hands-on, shop-floor-focused role

The pay range for this role is $58,800 - $94,100. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: August 11, 2026.
