SUMMARY
Support supervisor(s) for in the site recruitment & training activities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Recruiting
- Understand business needs of workforce, define hiring plan, execute the hiring activities
- Understand and ensure proper job profiles within global instructions
- Guide and support hiring manager to complete hiring requests through company systems
- Recruit, screen, and interview internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies.
- Review and evaluate applicant’s work history, education, training, and other qualifications.
- Source candidate from both internal and external sources.
- Expedite and coordinate the internal transfers. Refer candidates to the hiring manager.
- Notify applicants for consideration or rejection; interviews those selected that meet organization’s qualifications. Inform candidates of job duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule/conditions, career advancement opportunities, etc.
- Arrange for interviews and travel/lodging of selected applicants and company expenses, as necessary.
- Speak with/to a variety of external contacts including Employment Agencies to provide information regarding job possibilities and career opportunities.
- Perform reference and background checks.
- Prepare and extend job offers; prepare and/or authorize appropriate paperwork.
- Participate in the design and placement of employment advertising.
- Handle all relocation requirements for selected candidates.
- Conduct new hire orientations and/or exit interviews, as needed.
- Adherent to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Dispatching vendors management
- Participate in external hiring activities if assigned
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Onboarding
- Preparing the salary proposal and managing package negotiation.
- Conduct the onboarding process to ensure good onboarding experience
- Prepare the offer letter and collect entry documents from new hire
- Entry successful candidate and new hire information through company systems
Training
- Conduct onboarding training to New Hire / refresh training to employee.
- Manage, conduct the mandatory training courses/ certification for operations team, such as forklift certification, if any.
- Manage the implementation and usage of digital learning platforms (LMS, LinkedIn Learning...) to support plantwide learning.
- Build, manage, and maintain L&D SharePoint sites, dashboards, applications and digital tracking tools to enhance training visibility, data accessibility, and reporting accuracy.
- Organize learning events and engagement activities to promote learning culture.
- Design L&D communication materials for training/program promotions (posters, invitation, backdrop, certificates,).
- Handle vendor management processes and ensure compliance in audits and documentation.
Others
- Financial Budget & Report related to Recruiting & Training
- Headcount report and other hiring reports as required.
- Participant in projects if required
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from direct supervisor
Skills:
- English communication for business, Chinese is a plus
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS/Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset to proactively identify and implement enhancements in training programs and processes.
- Design skills to create visually engaging, learner-centric materials and experiences.
- Maintains a proactive attitude, remains resilient in high-pressure situations, and actively collaborates with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and leadership development methodologies.
- Knowledge of IDL, DL recruitment
- Experience with E-learning platforms and virtual training tools
- Experience with Digital Application such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Articulate Storyline, …
Working Conditions
- Occasional travel to training venues or other Jabil facilities may be required.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate training schedules and events.
