Job Summary**

The EHS Assistant II supports the Environmental, Health, and Safety department at Jabil, Inc. by assisting with the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS programs and procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct routine EHS inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work practices to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
* Support incident investigation processes, including data collection, root cause analysis, and documentation of corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records, reports, and documentation, including training records, inspection logs, and incident reports.
* Assist in the coordination and delivery of EHS training programs for employees, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency preparedness, and safe work practices.
* Participate in EHS committee meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of EHS performance.
* Help prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies.
* Provide administrative support to the EHS team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing EHS-related materials.
* Respond to and address EHS inquiries from employees and management in a timely and effective manner.
* Support the implementation of waste management and recycling initiatives.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field preferred.
* 2-4 years of experience in an EHS support role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Familiarity with EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and best practices.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Physical ability to perform duties that may involve walking, standing, and light lifting.
* First Aid/CPR certification a plus.
