Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst Jr. Engineer II at Jabil, Inc. supports the optimization of inventory levels and processes to ensure efficient supply chain operations and meet customer demand. This role involves data analysis, process improvement, and collaboration with various departments.

Job Responsibilities

* Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels for various products and components.
* Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Monitor inventory performance metrics, including turns, obsolescence, and accuracy, reporting on key findings and recommending corrective actions.
* Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and minimize inventory discrepancies.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of inventory control systems and tools.
* Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
* Prepare regular reports on inventory status, performance, and forecasts for management review.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within inventory management and contribute to their execution.
* Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or a related operational role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain concepts.
